Our Team
Joseph Sinclair - Founder, Pocono Prototyping
Joe is the founder of Pocono Prototyping, a manufacturing company rooted in innovation and precision. His journey in manufacturing began in State College, Pennsylvania, where he launched a dorm-room prototyping business while pursuing his education. That passion quickly evolved into a professional career when he joined Penn State’s Applied Research Laboratory CIMP-3D Facility as a Research & Development Engineer, working at the forefront of additive manufacturing.
Joe earned dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering from Penn State, and went on to become the first graduate of Penn State World Campus’s Master of Engineering in Additive Manufacturing & Design program—an achievement that marked him as a trailblazer in the field.
Over the years, Joe has co-founded and built multiple startups focused on software and hardware for manufacturing. He later served as Director of Hybrid Processes at Imperial Machine & Tool Co., where he led both additive and subtractive manufacturing divisions. Following Imperial's acquisition by Kaiser Aluminum Corporation in 2018, Joe became Director of Operations for Imperial, guiding high-precision projects across aerospace, defense, and energy sectors.
In 2023, Joe stepped away from corporate leadership to focus on family and community. He relocated to East Stroudsburg, PA, where he began building his family-owned manufacturing business, continuing his commitment to innovation, quality, and American manufacturing excellence.
